Maija Isola

Design is a Part of Life

This exhibition design project features Maija Isola, a Finnish textile designer in Arnold and Sheila Aronson Galleries at Parsons School of Design. She is one of the most famous designers in Marimekko who designed the beloved floral textile motif “Unikko.” The concept of life is captured in this imaginary exhibition, making visitors feel close to the artist and appreciate her perspective as a textile designer. The inspiration she drew from her life is transformed into colorful, bold designs that can be adopted into our daily lives.
