Witt and the Magical Spirits
Overview
Freelance project collaborating with New Standard Studios. They are based in Brooklyn, NY and "Witt and the Magical Spirits" was their first short film which came out in 2016.
I was in charge of adding visual effects, such as magical effects and animation and correcting colors in the whole movie. According to their orders, which were to add comical and imaginary flavors to the film, I explored magical and comical aesthetics. During the conversation over the working process, we reached out to the common visual goal to finalize these funny magical scenes.
I also designed the DVD menu and contents. We carefully selected scenes from the film to be used as screenshots and I carefully chose colors to convey their cheerful comicalness.
